The Theory of Everything

Have you seen the movie “Theory of Everything”? It is essentially the biography of the renowned physicist Dr. Stephen Hawking and his quest for that ‘single mathematical expression to unify all the laws of Physics’, focusing on the “Big Bang” that happened fourteen billion years ago as the beginning of the Universe, as we know it.

The truth is, the Universe is not just some billions years old but already many trillions and zillions – its infinite. And there is not just one but countless Big Bangs already. If the time and space of a small part of the True Universe will be compressed to just five minutes, it will look like the Manila city skyline at the tick of 12:00 o’clock midnight New Year’s Eve, with each exploding firework as a Big Bang. As you are reading this, it is possible that somewhere far far away there is a Big Bang currently exploding.

big bangs are like fireworks on New Year’s eve.

Big Bangs are as diverse as the creatures on earth. As there are no two individuals that are exactly the same even among twins, no two Big Bangs are the same. They all have different “DNAs”. No two Big Bangs have the same speed of light.

Big bangs go on cycles: they come and go, they appear and disappear. For the FATHER in Heaven, the total life cycle of a Big Bang is just a blip.

The Laws of Physics

When you throw an apple in the air, it falls down. When you boil water, it evaporates. After a heavy rain, then floods. It’s easy for science to explain these things, it’s simply ” 1 + 1 = 2 “ – everything adds up. These things are logical – everything falls in its right place.

But sometimes things don’t add up. Sometimes it is “1+1=4”, and also “1+1=0” – these are obviously absurd but they do happen. When Jesus walked on water, when He turned water into wine, and, when He brought the dead man Lazarus back to life – these things don’t add up. More lately in these times, we can see the dead body of Saint Padre Pio still uncorrupted after fifty years -[ he died 1968, September ]- . These things defy the laws of Physics. Every now and then, God has demonstrated that He can alter Physics, that whatever He wishes, Physics can do nothing. If God wishes the sun to rise in the west and not from the east, it will happen.

uncorrupted Saints: Padre Pio and Bernadette

But for many, there’s only science in this universe and no God, the reason why many scientists like Dr. Hawking are atheists. They are so sure that science is behind every circumstance in the universe. They contemplate deeply, up to the deepest recesses of their intelligence to explain everything that begs an explanation. In his quest to find this “Theory of Everything”, that single mathematical expression to explain eveything in the universe, Dr. Hawking has set himself to “chasing the wind”. Lately, he died as he was still chasing the wind. -[ 2018, March ]-. If only he believed that he can command the mountain to walk towards the sea “with just a mustard seed of faith”, his life should have been simpler and less stressful.

The Universe is governed by the laws of Physics, but in the realm of Physics it’s God that runs the show. With God, the Theory of Everything does not exist.

KNOW YOURSELF

The desire to know what you don’t know, whether its a small barangay tsismis or the huge mysteries and secrets of the Universe, these are temptations and also deceptions by Satan, his devious ploy to deflect your attention away from what GOD really wants you to do, which is: KNOW YOURSELF

“. . if those who lead you say to you: ‘Look, the kingdom is in the sky!’ then the birds of the sky will precede you; . . If they say to you: ‘It is in the sea,’ then the fishes will precede you; . . Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and outside of you; . . When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known,
and you will realize that you are the children of the living Father; . . But if you do not come to know yourselves, then you exist in poverty, and you are poverty.”
Gospel Of St. THOMAS – Verse #3

God never wanted that you pursue to know everything – because it leads to nothing. You only got maybe seventy or eighty years to live, too short for you to ‘know’ everything.

“. . whoever has found himself, of him the world is not worthy. .” – Gospel of St. Thomas verse #111.

“. . during the few and meaningless days of life in this world, a person passes through like a shadow. .” – Ecclesiastes 6:12

When you know yourself, you’ll realize your sins and weaknesses, and you can repent and refurbish yourself so as to please GOD. Soon all the knowledge that humanity has established will be erased. Everything will be swallowed by the seas.

  1. Abstract: We discuss some physical consequences of what might be called “the ultimate ensemble theory”, where not only worlds corresponding to say different sets of initial data or different physical constants are considered equally real, but also worlds ruled by altogether different equations. The only postulate in this theory is that all structures that exist mathematically exist also physically, by which we mean that in those complex enough to contain self-aware substructures (SASs), these SASs will subjectively perceive themselves as existing in a physically “real” world. We find that it is far from clear that this simple theory, which has no free parameters whatsoever, is observationally ruled out. The predictions of the theory take the form of probability distributions for the outcome of experiments, which makes it testable. In addition, it may be possible to rule it out by comparing its a priori predictions for the observable attributes of nature (the particle masses, the dimensionality of spacetime, etc) with what is observed.
